Announcing Seventhink.com, the new domain name for Seventh.Ink Shirts and Apparel! After a lot of hard work I’ve made the big change over and am very excited to align the brand and the website into a unified presence.
Everything on the site should be up and running fully, but if at any point you notice something looks out of place or you’re having an issue with something please let me know through the Contact page, it would mean a lot to hear it from you now instead of 10 months down the road.
Furyshirts.com (the old domain which still redirects to Seventhink.com) was the main domain for a few years so it’s sort of like the end of an era. However, I’m very pumped up to have Seventhink.com up and running and am looking forward to spreading the word.
I think this momentous occasion calls for a little celebration, don’t you?

The news about Seventhink.com needs to be shared around, so what better way than to have a contest where all you have to do is Share/Like/Tweet/Stumble/Digg as much as you can? Here’s how it will work in a nutshell:

I often get asked why my brand’s name is Seventh.Ink and why the URL for the site was www.furyshirts.com. Well, to be honest there were a few reasons.
When I started Seventh.Ink it was still a part of my design site Seventhfury Studios, but when I decided to make it a separate endeavor I had to think of a domain name for the site. I brainstormed with a few friends and we came up with www.furyshirts.com, the “fury” part coming from “Seventhfury”. It made sense to us at the time and it was easy to pass along verbally, so it stuck.
It wasn’t long after Seventh.Ink began growing that bloggers began asking questions about the nature of the domain name. “What’s the fury all about? Why not seventhink.com?”
The more I was questioned, the more I questioned the choice myself. When people starting confusing the name Seventh.Ink with “Fury Shirts”, I decided it was time to make a change in the domain name of the site. “Fury Shirts” isn’t the name of the brand, it was just an easy to remember domain name that I thought fit at one point in time.
I then sought out Seventhink.com, which was already taken by a company in Germany but wasn’t being used. After a few friendly emails and a couple of bucks (maybe more than a couple), the domain was mine and was worth every penny. I’ve been waiting since October to change things over, I was so afraid of screwing up my site that I held out to make sure things ran smoothly through the holidays.
