I just uploaded four new time lapse videos to the Seventh.Ink YouTube and Vimeo channels that show the full creation of the art for Haunted Collection III from start to finish. These show my process from blank pages to final colors for each of the three designs (Return to Ashes is split into two time lapse videos).
I recently put together three new animal shirt designs on a Kickstarter page that I think everyone will like. The designs are called Party Croc, Belligerent Bengal, and Wisest Owl.
The Kickstarter needs to reach its goal by August 1st, otherwise these designs may not be printed for a very long time.
The 2012 Lookbook is now available! I’m very excited about this year’s photos, they turned out fantastic. The shirts photographed come from a variety of recent releases and showcase some of the hottest selling designs. You can view the entire set here, and below are a few of my personal favorites.
I have to admit, the new Knocked Speechless shirt design was done purely for fun on my part. I did the sketch for this design a few years ago and recently came across it while perusing my books. Something about this sketch really enveloped me, so I decided to flesh it out into a functioning shirt design.
Since there was a lot of positive feedback on the Shakespeare’s Wolf Time Lapse video that I posted a few months ago, I thought I would do the same thing for the recently released Trap Set Trike shirt. This time I recorded the illustration from start to finish including the coloring of the design.
Last night Seventh.Ink was included in the Threads segment of G4tv’s Attack of the Show and ever since the episode aired I’ve been up to my brains in orders to fill. The segment turned out better than I could have ever imagined, and included two other sites that I actively participate on: Rumplo and Redbubble.
A few months ago, I decided that it would be fun to do a screen capture recording of the illustration process for the Shakespeare’s Wolf design that I just released. I learned a few things in doing this and am hoping to provide more of these videos from time to time as I find them fun and entertaining.
