Knocked Speechless Shirt Details and Video

I have to admit, the new Knocked Speechless shirt design was done purely for fun on my part. I did the sketch for this design a few years ago and recently came across it while perusing my books. Something about this sketch really enveloped me, so I decided to flesh it out into a functioning shirt design. In fact, I like it so much that I happen to be wearing it this very second.

This is my first shirt to be printed using water-based inks, and I’m excited to be hopefully moving in this direction for more of my designs. Not only are water-based inks better for the environment than the standard plastisol inks used in screen printing, but they feel so much lighter and breathe more.

I thought I would share the initial sketch from this design as well as a detail shot and the final product. Also did a time lapse video of the digital inking process from start to finish, that’s included below as well.

Summer 2011 Part 2

I’m happy to announce that the second set of Summer 2011 items are now available! This mini release features a new design, Into the Gallows, which is available on a royal blue shirt and a black tank top.

The inspiration for this design comes from the Gulf of Mexico, which is only a few miles from where I live. The shirt’s phrase, “Promises unkept sink into the gallows”, stems from a personal belief that you should always be yourself and not hide behind false promises and pretenses.

I’m also releasing Vinyl Logo Car Decals in 6″ and 12″ sizes for those of you who want to rock out with a little Seventh.Ink on your vehicle, amp, guitar case, or whatever. These decals are weather resistant for up to five years and are very easy to install.

Japan Relief Shirts — One More Round

A few weeks ago I released the Japan Relief shirt design on a whim because I wanted to do something to help with the disaster over in Japan. The proceeds from the shirt are donated to the buyer’s choice of charity, which was a big incentive for people to both help out with the relief efforts and get a cool shirt in return.

To my surprise, the shirt sold out within two weeks.

After another week of deliberating, I’ve decided to re-release the shirt for another round of Pre-Orders for those who didn’t get a chance the first time around. The shirt won’t be shipping until around May 13th, but by securing your order now you are doing two things: donating to a great cause and making sure you don’t miss out on this limited edition shirt.
